Why Injection over Oral supplements?

  • Those who are obese, have existing autoimmune disorders, or a poor diet and find it hard to lose weight more than likely have a malabsorption issue.  Therefore, oral supplements will not work as well as IM injections.

Vitamin D metabolism is dependent on sunlight and enzymatic conversation in the liver and kidneys and/or a diet containing foods high in Vitamin D.

The most common reasons for low Vitamin D levels: sun avoidance, sun protection, increased skin pigmentation, inadequate diet, malabsorption syndromes, obesity, and medication use.

Vitamin D Deficiency increases the risk of many chronic diseases, including cancer, autoimmune diseases, type 2 diabetes, heart disease and hypertension, osteoarthritis, and depression.

Vitamin D Deficiency is the most underdiagnosed medical condition in children and adults.  This is largely because patients do not typically present with overt clinical signs and symptoms until the deficiency is severe and prolonged.
